Are there any particular aspects of your conference that you consider unique to your field? Our objective is to provide an open and informal forum for anaesthetic trainees to present original research, audit projects and case reports in an atmosphere where they will receive constructive criticism in project design and presentation. The meeting is also open to Consultant Anaesthetists, who may wish to support their trainees presenting at the meeting, or indeed gain advice for or present their own research projects. This is a new departure in style for British anaesthetic meetings, but, we believe, a necessary one for the health of the specialty.
