Ms. Tarlton is a certified by the South Carolina State Board of Education, where she holds a Professional Certificate with Elementary Endorsement at the Masters Level. In addition to her more than four years of service as a classroom teacher (K-12), Ms. Tarlton has more ten years of experience in Higher Education in the combined areas of Orientation, Counseling, Student Leadership Development, Greek Affairs, Academic Advising, and Residence Life, including serving as a Peer Health Educator/Trainer and a campus advisor to several student organizations. A native of South Carolina, Ms. Tarlton completed her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education at Clemson University; with graduate work at Francis Marion University and College of Charleston/the University of Charleston, prior to completing her Master of Divinity at Hood Theological Seminary.
