Advanced Physical Agent Modalities for Occupational Therapy Practitioners This two part, thirty hour didactic training course will provide licensed occupational therapists with the comprehensive instruction and practical, hands-on laboratory experience necessary to competently use advanced physical agent modalities (APAM) to enhance the functional performance of patients/clients. This course has been specifically designed to fulfill the New Jersey Occupational Therapy Advisory Council regulatory requirements (N.J.A.C. 13:44K-1 et seq.) for the use of: diathermy; high-volt galvanic stimulation; microcurrent stimulation; transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation; neuromuscular nerve stimulation; iontophoresis; therapeutic ultrasound; phonophoresis and cold lasers. This seminar is for Occupational Therapists (OT) and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTA) in New Jersey who use Advanced Physical Agent Modalities in their therapy programs.
