This activity has been has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 20.00 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AMA: AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award.
AOA: CME activities approved for AAFP credit are recognized by the AOA as equivalent to AOA Category 2 credit.
CFPC: Members of the College of Family Physicians of Canada are eligible to receive 20 MAINPRO-M1 credits for participation in this activity due to reciprocal agreement with the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Continuing Education Company has been organizing its' Primary Care Conference Series for the past 22 years. The Essentials in Primary Care Summer Conference is designed to update primary care clinicians in rapidly changing therapeutic areas. The emphasis is on practical and useful information for clinical practice. Join us this July and August when we hold the 5th Annual Essentials in Primary Care Summer Conference. This conference will be repeated in two session for convenience in scheduling. Session 2 will he held at the Mauna Lani Hotel and Bungalows in the Kohala Coast, Hawaii (Big Island).
The summer conference series offers physicians two date options:
•July 14-18, 2014: Session 1 (Hammock Beach Resort, Palm Coast, FL)
•July 28 - August 1, 2014: Session 2 (Kiawah Island Golf Resort, Kiawah Island, SC)
As a result of this conference, participants will be able to:
•Discuss the clinical presentation of the common disorders seen in the primary care.
•Identify the role of the family physician in the management of these common problems.
•Utilize current advances in the diagnosis and treatment of these common problems, using whenever possible, an evidence-based approach.
•Interact and question nationally acclaimed speakers on a variety of common clinical scenarios from medical practice.
The 5th Annual Essentials in Primary Care Summer Conference will be held over two one week sessions offering attendees a choice based on their schedule. Session II to be held on the Big Island of Hawaii will follow this schedule:

The maximum occupancy allowed in a guestroom is three (3) adults or two (2) adults and two (2) children. Rates are based on double occupancy. The third adult (18 years or over) charge is $75.00 plus applicable taxes, per night.
Special bedding requests are subject to availability. The maximum is two (2) beds per room and rollaway beds are available in King Bedded rooms only. Rollaway Beds may be subject to a daily charge of $65.00 plus applicable taxes.
Deadline for room reservations (not conference registration) is June 26, 2014. We recommend that you reserve your room as soon as possible.
When you call the resort, please reference 5th ANNUAL ESSENTIALS IN PRIMARY CARE 2014 or Continuing Education Company to receive the Group rate. Please inquire about any additional resort fees, early departure fees or cancellation penalties when making reservations. The Resort requires a deposit equal to two night’s stay to hold the reservation. Any room cancellations or modifications must be made up to 14 days prior to the reservation date.
For early departure after a guest has checked in, a fee equivalent to the number of lost nights will be the responsibility of the individual guest to pay prior to departing the hotel. For guests with confirmed reservations that are no show, a fee equivalent to the number of lost nights will be charged to the credit card on file.

|Refund Policy:||CANCELLATIONS: A full refund minus a $45 processing fee will be given for written cancellations received by June 27, 2014. Refunds cannot be honored after this date and tuition will be applied as full payment for any of our future meetings. No refund will be given for no-shows. Occasionally, speakers or topics need to be changed. In the unlikely event that the conference is canceled, CEC will refund the registration fee in full, but is not responsible for any travel or hotel costs incurred. However, we will not cancel any meeting due to lack of attendance.
