Claudia has ghosted or edited nearly six dozen fiction and nonfiction books since 1989 as well as being the author of This Business of Books: A Complete Overview of the Industry from Concept through Sales (Editions 1-4) and the breakthrough trade textbook, Secrets of a Ghostwriter: The Business, Skills & Politics of Professional Book Writing.
Poised, irreverent, frank and funny, Claudia has been teaching aspiring authors and training ghostwriters, editors and Professional Book Writers™, both individually and in small groups, since 1996. In addition, she has given numerous presentations in community colleges, to writers’ groups and through civic and professional organizations.
Because Claudia is the first ghostwriter to formulize and patent the specific skills of ghost-writing and non-generic editing, no other writing course or program can offer the specific information taught at the Professional Book Writing School. In addition to speaking, teach-ing, mentoring new ghostwriters and providing ghostwriting/editing services to aspiring authors, she serves as dean of students for the Professional Book Writing School and CEO of Wambtac Communications, the parent company of the Professional Book Writing School.
