Biography:

G. Lee Ostler DDS is a graduate of the University of Washington School Of Dentistry and has a private practice in Richland Washington. He has focused his practice on advanced cosmetic rehabilitation, bite reconstruction, comprehensive periodontal management, dental sleep medicine, neuromuscular dentistry, facial pain, TMJ/TMD therapy, and general dentistry.
He is a graduate and former clinical instructor at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He has also been a clinical instructor in the post-graduate Contemporary Aesthetic Dentistry Continuums at the Baylor University College of Dentistry and University of Kentucky-Lexington.
Alongside his dental career he has developed numerous marketing strategies which create differentiation for his practice. This has grown into a marketing business as many dentists have desired to learn and do many of the same things he has developed. Additionally, many practice management consultants have introduced their clients to these concepts and strategies as well.
Since the current medical/legal standards-of-care have shifted to mandate multi-disciplinary management of compromising medical conditions, Dr. Ostler teaches dentists how to work closely with physicians in their medical community, and how to elevate their care of patients to these new standards. His purpose is to build a bridge between the medical and dental communities to benefit patients and save lives, and to help doctors avoid the problems associated with failure to diagnose and treat important medical diseases related to the presence of chronic oral infections and other dental related conditions.
Dr. Ostler is author of the book “The Physicians Marketing Handbook – How to Market To and Get Referrals From Physicians”. His newest book “How To Successfully Differentiate – A Dentists Guide to Successful Dental Marketing” presents several unique marketing and practice building strategies not seen elsewhere in dentistry.
He is also author and developer of the Physicians Referral and Education Program (PREP) marketing system, the “Cooking with Style” Practice Recipe Book marketing program, the DREAMarketing “Instant Author” program, the “Oral Health For Diabetics” marketing website/program, and the “Help Save A Life Today” marketing website/program, among others. He has been published in Dental Economics and Dentistry Today, with articles about the emerging science and how dentists and physicians can and should be working more closely together.
He is owner/founder of DREAMarketing, a specialty marketing company devoted to helping dentists create professional referral relationships with physicians, and to developing unique differentiation marketing strategies for dental practices. He has developed and maintains many dental marketing web sites for himself and other dentists. His information and materials are being referenced and used by numerous practice management consultants both in the United States and Internationally.
Dr. Ostler has spoken to physicians and dentists audiences on the subjects of the emerging science related to the Oral-Systemic Connection, Dental Sleep Medicine, and TMD-Headaches, and how to use this information and associated treatments to secure professional referrals and build practices.
