Waidid was born in 2014 to advance the scientific research in the field of infectious diseases, immunology and autoimmune diseases and to disseminate information on the related pathologies at international level. We had always felt the lack of a network between the associations or scientific societies specialized in infectious and immunological diseases, and involving at the same time all the different specialists. WAidid put together specialists in infectious diseases and immunology with pulmonologists, rheumatologists, gastroenterologists and renal experts.The result is a scientific programme focusing on infectious diseases, Vaccines, Autoimmune and Rheumatic diseases, Pneumology and Allergology.
