The Mayo Clinic Practical Proton Therapy Seminar webcast is designed to provide a focused interactive educational experience in implementing pencil beam scanning therapy. Lectures will include the basic principles of proton beam therapy; physics commissioning and QA; practical guidance on patient CT/immobilization; and disease-specific treatment planning methods. National and international proton field experts will deliver four keynote lectures on the most exciting proton research, such as flash therapy, Artificial Intelligence, and proton radiobiology.
