Description:This symposium is designed to increase competence regarding the recognition and management of cardiovascular disease in women. Expert faculty will explore new and emerging risk factors for women's heart disease while highlighting areas of discrepancy in care management related to gender. The goal of this activity is to improve outcomes for women with cardiovascular disease and arrhythmias as well as provide educational interventions for both primary and secondary prevention.
