As an accomplished humorist, speaker and author (Straight Talk, Getting Off The Curb…co-authored with K.C. Lundberg), Karel Murray established Our Branch, Inc., a public speaking and training company.
Her background encompasses regional human resource and administrative management in the commercial insurance and real estate fields. Exposure to the stress of corporation mergers, employee supervision, organizational politics, and regional attitudes taught Karel the value of balancing reality with opportunity.
In 2002, Karel was awarded the coveted Distinguished Real Estate Instructor designation from the Real Estate Educators Association (REEA) recognizing her superior presentation style. She holds a Real Estate Broker’s license and has earned four additional real estate designations. In her past roles as a Broker/Manager of a seventy-five million dollar branch of a RE/MAX company and as the Blue Springs Missouri Chamber of Commerce Chairperson, Karel emphasized the importance of community commitment and encouraged city leaders and business professionals to strive towards the goal of positive, future oriented urban growth. As a result of her efforts, she was honored with the 1999 Chamber Ambassador’s Award, one of 6 recipients in 35 years.
Karel conducts national motivational, sales, and business marketing programs in many formats: keynote, general or concurrent sessions, trainer, facilitator, moderator and continuing education real estate training.
