We wanted something delicious to excite those parts that the average session doesn't reach, you gave me that and more. Once again, thank you, it was a privilege to see you all at work."

Management Centre Europe | "I've participated in many attempts to use the arts, sports, or other forms of entertainment as metaphors for business. But rarely have I seen a session more perfectly 'on pitch' than the approach used by Michael Gold and Jazz Impact. Jazz is more than just a metaphor for creativity and collaboration in business. It maps perfectly to the dynamics of high performance groups in way that reveals new understanding of how teams should work together. Bravo!"

| "Your involvement with Jazz Impact has had a tremendously positive influence on our new company- learning to listen differently to each other, learning to collaborate with each other, learning to innovate in ways no one ever thought of before your presentation. Jazz is music in motion and alive to change. Companies, whether not for profit or corporate, are individuals in motion and alive to change. We all need to use your concepts to develop a healthier and more productive workplace."

RE: Jazz-Impact's Participation in the Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) National Conference,
May 14-16, 2003, Boston, MA"I want to commend and thank you for the great program that you provided at our national conference last week. It exceeded my expectations, and contributed meaningfully to the overall success of the conference. WTS is an organization whose mission includes enhancing professional and personal advancement of our members, and developing industry and government recognition of the increasing involvement of women in the field of transportation. Our membership is about 3500 strong, and spread throughout 35 chapters across the United States, with one new chapter in western Canada. All modes of transportation are included. In addition to providing conference sessions and speakers that address current issues across all transportation modes, the yearly conference program also includes professional development elements. This year's conference theme was "Redefining Community Connections" and your 90 minute session was billed under the title of "Leadership and Collaboration." As co-chair for the Conference Program Committee, it was my intent to provide through your presentation, an alternative method of interaction, both within our respective work environments and within our WTS "community." You delivered in a way that was both entertaining, and provocatively educating, with a sensitivity to the uniqueness of our audience. The use of jazz as a business model and its direct applicability to our members' lives was not immediately evident to all, because of the lack of prior exposure to and understanding of jazz by some. Your presentation provided what they needed to know to about jazz to see the transferability in a powerful way, as reflected by the following quote from one attendee who emailed me after the conference. She said:
"…About 20 minutes into the jazz session, I wasn't too sure about it. But at minute 21, it all clicked for me, and it was tremendous. I guess it just took 20 minutes for my right brain to merge with my left brain."
Your program content was terrific and provided a depth of understanding of collaborative behavior that I had not expected. It enlightened our group on nuances of human interactions that transcend both the music and business worlds to potentially benefit all kinds of relationships. May you have continued success in spreading this important message."
